A passport with a validity of a further six months is necessary, EU citizens do not need a visa. Visitors can now pass freely through the crossing points between North and South Cyprus so it is no longer necessary to avoid collecting TRNC entry and exit stamps in passports.

It is now possible to fly into an airport on either side of the border and cross to the other side for either the entire duration or part of the visit.
