rented cars are fairly cheap in North Cyprus. There has been
rapid growth in the number of newly imported vehicles in
recent months, and many companies offer comparatively new
vehicles. However there are still quite a number of older
vehicles still available at a lower daily rate, however some
of these vehicles have left hand steering which can make
overtaking less simple. Most companies will only hire to
drivers over 25 years of age. Prices are quoted in pounds
sterling at a daily rate that includes unlimited mileage.
There is typically an insurance excess of the first £300 for
accidental damage, should you wish this to be removed, the
additional daily rate is usually about £3. Hire will be for a
fixed period and if an extension is required you must ensure
that the documentation is amended otherwise the driver will be
