History of Esentepe

Esentepe, previously known as Ayios Amvrosios (St Ambrase), is a
village built around a church of the same name. The municipal area
of Esentepe is quite large where the village offers a full range of
amenities including a variety of restaurants, a post office, primary
and secondary schools and a police station. Esentepe also has its
own local football team with a great stadium! Visitors are always
