Esentepe Beaches
|
| Esentepe is quite close to some of the best beaches
of Northern Cyprus! For example, beaches like 'The ' Acapulco', 'The
6 mile Beach' and 'The Diana Beach' are only minutes away. The most
famous beach of it all, 'The Alagadi Turtle Beach', is also just
five minute driving distance away. This beach has golden sands that
stretch over several miles. The Alagadi Beach drives its fame from
the 'turtle nests' that hatch during the months of June and July.
During this period, one can watch the Mediterranean 'Caretta
Caretta' turtles nest and then see the baby turtles hatch from their
eggs and escape into the azure waters of the Mediterranean. These
turtles have nocturnal laying habits and we are proud to see that
